PA • May 1999 - Present Art Director/Account Executive, Sharp Advertising, Las Vegas, NV • April 1997 - March 1999 At Sharp Advertising, I created and designed corporate identity, advertising,
brochures, and signage for several Las Vegas casinos. I supervised six
support staff members and served as Art Director and Account Executive
for all of the agency’s clients, which included Oasis Residential,
Terrible Herbst Oil Co., Richmond American, RoadRunner Casinos, Maxim
Casino, Golden Gate Casino and others. I was also responsible for customer
billing, job trafficking, and vendor referrals. Graphic Designer, Nellcor Puritan Bennett, Pleasanton, CA • November 1995 - April 1997 While at Nellcor Puritan Bennett, I designed camera-ready art for the company’s Corporate Communications department. I directed several projects from implementation to completion, most notably the company newsletter and the corporate identity, and was on the production team for designing the company’s web site. Graphic Designer (Freelance), San Francisco, CA • August 1994 - November 1995For ten months I worked as a freelance artist for various advertising agencies whose clients included BankofAmerica, Electronic Arts, Goldberg Moser & O’Neill, Highway One/PMG Communications, and J. Walter Thompson and McCann-Erickson. Graphic Designer, Rolodex Corporation, Secaucus, NJ • April 1992 - June 1994 While at Rolodex, the national office products company called upon me to redesign all of the company’s brochures, forms, price lists, and advertising materials. I coordinated all of their presentation materials relating to their marketing needs including 35mm slide presentations, handouts, and workbooks. I also re-created approximately 400 pieces of line art images using Adobe Illustrator. Graphic Designer (Freelance), Merrill Lynch • Princeton, NJ • October 1993 - July 1994 At Merrill Lynch I trained six artists during the company’s transition from Pagemaker to QuarkXPress. On several occasions, I held the responsibility of Supervisor and organized and delegated work to several freelancers working on the night shift. |
